About Logan R. Istre

Logan R. Istre is a passionate and dedicated attorney who primarily focuses on family
law matters. After law school, Logan had the privilege of clerking under two general
jurisdiction judges that regularly handled divorce, custody, and other family law cases.
After seeing so many people struggle through the family law process, Logan saw an
opportunity to make a positive impact in people’s lives by entering the family law arena.
In 2021, Logan transitioned from the public sector into the private sector where he
garnered extensive experience dealing with family law matters while working under
some of Lafayette’s top family law practitioners. He has dedicated most of his legal
career to the field and even served as the president of the Lafayette Bar Association’s
Family Law Section.
Logan graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2016, where he
received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as well as a Minor in Communications.
He then obtained his J.D./D.C.L. from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law
Center, graduating in 2020.
Logan is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Lafayette Bar
Association.
